So saddened to learn of this news. My sincerest sympathies to all his family and loved ones. I was so thrilled to receive a letter from him, with my very own letter that I’d written him telling him he was by far my favourite teacher, that’ he found in His shed.. he’ll forever remain in my memories of treasured days growing up in Swan Hill.

Dear Robin and Families Peter was the most beautiful down to earth person he made my son very happy on the year 1987 my husband that's passed was riding in the Golden Topaz and for some reason l sent Dale to school he told Peter that his father was riding Bulgara in the Golden Topaz Race so Peter turned on the Radio and let him listen to it in class that was so beautiful lll never forget that l know what it's like loosing your best friend it's hard but lm still pushing through all my love to you all

Fond memories of Swan Hill Tech School days and trips to the Stawell Gift and football in Melbourne as a student in the 1960’s. A great teacher whose kindness has never been forgotten.

To Robyn and family, our sincerest condolences. A true and kind friend, “Clutter” featured hugely in my mother’s stories of 1142. Their friendship was one she treasured, formed initially whilst working together, and continuing through retirement. For me, professionally, Peter’s publications were a trusted classroom resource, an invaluable “stepping-off” point for a young teacher.
