Sincere condolences to Bryan’s family. I live 4 doors down and have just found out about his passing by seeing this funeral notice . I was wondering why I hadn’t seen him walking his lovely dog the last couple of months past my house . We always had a little chat and he was very kind to me and put my bin out after I had an operation . He was also very kind and helpful over the counter at the Shire council . I’m so sorry to hear of this lovely gentleman’s passing .

The newest member of the Swan Hill Branch of the Association of Independent Retirees (AIR) Bryan will be sadly missed. Always greeting you with a smile and a friendly chat, Bryan often brightened my day. In so many Federal and State elections Bryan was a key member of the AEC and VEC teams in Swan Hill and accepted the most challenging role which he managed with distinction and integrity. Always willing to share his knowledge and help others along the way. On behalf of AIR members sincere condolences to Bryan's family.

What a shock and so saddened to hear this. Worked for many years with Bryan and truly admired his work ethic. He always gave 200% and offered support and guidance to me and anyone that needed it. Such a kind and helpful man who will be sadly missed. Condolences to his family and friends in these hard times.

Deepest sympathy on the sad passing of Bryan. It was a pleasure working with him for so many years (except when Collingwood would beat Carlton of course). Rest peacefully my friend.

Bryan, we only met a few times while you were out front of your home and I would be walking past but would stop for a quick pat with your beloved Rusty. Please rest assured that Rusty will be very loved, cherished and taken care of as you would have. I am honoured to have been able to adopt him for you. My sympathies to Simon and families. So sadden and shocked on hearing this news. Bryan was pivotal in getting the very first Special Marketing Rate up in 2002, a history making moment for the region, and one that still exists today. Worked very closely over the years with him on this and he was always a pleasure to work with, nothing was too much trouble. In the latter years he was often seen enjoying himself at the annual food and wine festival, was always up for a drink and some fun. He will be missed dearly.

Thinking of all Bryan’s family at this sad time! Bryan was a true gentleman with a heart of gold, the conversations and giggles will be never forgotten. Xx

Bryan - I was shocked to hear the terrible news. I was one of the lucky ones who got to work with Bryan in the Offices. Bryan was always in high spirits and a pleasure to work with. Condolences to your family.

What a gentle soul you were Bryan, the laughs we shared, usually at the expense of a Collingwood loss, your recommendations of wine and those Christmas cakes will always bring me fond memories of you. To Simon and family, my deepest sympathy to a great man, father and work colleague Bryan. I had the pleasure of working with Bryan on many occasions since 2008 and enjoyed a few drinks at social events with him. Loved sharing a scotch or a red with Bryan whilst trying to solve some of life's challenges. A man of much knowledge and a great resource on Council related issues. We had many a conversation on the Collingwood football club as I too am a member of our great club. I missed him when he left to enjoy retirement but wished him well. I will once again miss the great man he was but I'm so happy I got to know him. You were much loved and respected with many of my work colleagues. Rest easy old mate.
