My condolences to Nola, Sue, Karen, Paul and families on the sad passing of "Uncle Ken". I'm sure you will take comfort in each other remembering all the fun and happy times with both tears and laughter, Lyn S.

My mother only lived for a short time , but in that time were some amazing people one of them was Ken, thank you Ken for being part of her beautiful story and to his family you are truly bless to have had the best memories now never will be forgotten , Diane Clarke, Joan Foenander daughter . .

Sincere condolences to Ken's family. On our trips Active Mens Group members will miss Ken's amazing yarns from his time at the Lands Department on his many postings all over Victoria. A true gentleman.

My beloved Ken was my mentor,protector and many other things but mostly the best friend I could ever wish for then later was the Best Man at my wedding to my wife Lesley. I met Ken at the ripe old age of 14 as he was the Drummer in the first gig I ever had. From that moment we established a comradraderie that continued till this moment. There are so many times I could relate to but it’s the love that we had for each other for nearly 70 years that means everything to myself and Lesley. I will miss more than I can say and knowing he is at peace now with his beloved Thelma All our love Keith and Lesley Dubber

We had some wonderful times together in the early 60s when we were all learning to play. Margie Fullerton featured with Ken Jillard , Drewe Hunter and Eddy Callaja in a new Television program on Channel 10 Traralgon in 1962. Under the name of Jazztet they had two weekly programms for many months. Tuesday night at 9.30 pm and Sunday afternoon a one hour Teentime which featured the Jazztet with the late Joan Foenander.on vocals.

On behalf of many Latrobe Valley musicians I'd like to acknowledge the great contribution Ken made to the early music scene here. A great drummer. RIP

Ken encouraged me (amongst many others) to make a life from music which I have done without regret. Those first two cymbals he gave me are still a prized part of my equipment! Ken will always be remembered with love in our household. Love to the family!

On behalf of the Swan Hill and District Concert Band, we are saddened by the passing of Ken our amazing drummer. His love and enjoyment of music and playing with our group has been a big part of his life. Ken’s skill as a musician has certainly ‘kept us together’ and he will be a big loss to us musically and as a friend. We extend our deepest sympathies to Ken’s family at this time.
