Helen Ann Smith (Findlay)

Passed away after a short and unexpected battle with cancer,

surrounded by love at Swan Hill District Health.

Loving & Dedicated wife to Barry “Bud” Smith (Dec) for 48 years.

Adored mother & mother in law to Kristy & Michael, Travis, Michael & Phyllis.

Cherished Nan of Charlie, Oscar, Archie, Maygan, Ruby & Georgie.

A kind and giving sister, sister in law, aunty and loving friend to many.

Mum, it’s hard to put into words what has just happened.

We will never understand why? Our hearts are breaking.

You will always live on, in our hearts and memories.

You have left an imprint on the hearts of many.

Taken way too soon.

Sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Reunited with Dad.

May you now Rest In Peace.

A special thank you to Bronwyn, Rose and all the beautiful nursing staff.

You touched us with the love, care and compassion you so unashamedly gave our beautiful mum.

Funeral Notice

A private cremation will be held, and a Memorial Service to be advised and held at a later date.

I am heartbroken for you Kristy, Trav, Mick & your families. To lose both Bud & Smithy so close together is both unbelievable & shattering. Smithy - I have such wonderful memories of all the wonderful times - we solved the whole worlds problems on our morning walks, planned many adventures including my wedding. There were so many fun times, particularly at Thurla St. where you & Bud welcomed into your family - for this I am forever grateful. Rest peacefully with Bud my beautiful friend.
