Deepest sympathy to all of Doreens family I had the pleasure of meeting dora whilst working as a cleaner in logan lodge recently. our first meeting was me telling her my name and that i was there to clear her room next thing a plastic cup came through the air aimed at me so i just ignored it and kept going. The next day same thing cup through the air this time it had water in it so i picked it up and threw it back at her she was so shocked we both sat there laughing.she never done it again. Her mind was always working she would see me and ask were i had been your late and tell to take the tractor down to the back paddock and fix the wires so every time i finished my shift i would go and tell the job was finished she would just nod here head. to see Dora AND Grace sitting talking to one another was amazing they were talking a language i have never heard but they seemed to understand one another with Grace waving her finger at Dora and Dora looking away. recently my mother was diagnosed with alziemers which devasted me by meeting Doreen and watching her i am not frightened any more and for that i will always be grateful to her she made me realize just because they sometimes can not communicate with you but they know you are there. the day she passed i was in her room cleaning earlier in day and i knew she had done her last days work so i sat with her and held her hand and said goodbye . miss her everyday regards Janene Henson

Mrs Butler will be sadly missed by all the Ficarra family especially the little ones who were lucky enough to wear her knitted jumpers as they grew. She was a great cook, & as a young girl I remember the jelly cakes that she would cook for Janet's birthday parties which was always memorable. She loved her garden, dancing & her family, always dressed beautifully. She will be sadly missed & ours thoughts go to Janet, Neil ,Geoff & families. Love from Rosie & Tori
